As a Software Architect at Netcompany, you will provide technical and architecture expertise to support designing solutions users really need and want.
You'll test the art of the possible by designing proofs of concept to test solutions for future services, working with internal groups, third parties and external suppliers.
What you'll do
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to run discovery, clarify ambiguous requirements, and translate them into clear functional and non‑functional requirements
- Enable delivery and governance, collaborate with engineers to produce a detailed roadmap, define observability requirements (metrics, logs, traces), and participate in design reviews/architecture review boards
- Shape and document solution architectures and produce target-state and integration designs that are aligned to industry best practice
Essential
- Must have experience designing or implementing distributed system architectures
- Experience as a technical architect or technical lead
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Experience working within an agile methodology
- Preferable
- Architecture-related qualifications, such as TOGAF
- Experience and knowledge of software engineering technologies, such as Java/C#
- Experience with multiple database technologies, including relational databases and document databases
- Cloud architecture experience/qualifications
