At this level, you will be expected to:
- Have experience working to the GDS design principles or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector
- Build user‑centred practices in new teams
- Must have experience managing/leading UR working across multiple Government projects
- Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition
- Carry out user research and supervise and develop other user researchers to assure and improve research practice
- Advocate for inclusive practices and help teams design and deliver accessible services that work for all users
- Help teams adopt a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods
- Understand and help teams apply a range of methods to analyse research data and synthesise findings
- Draw out key findings and implications, summarising and tailoring for different audiences
- Understand the social and technological context of projects
- Align user research activities to inform decision making and action
- Know about the technologies used to build and operate digital services
- Help inexperienced teams adopt user‑centred practices and embed them into their agile workflow
Qualifications:
- 6 years plus User Research experience
- Have experience working to the GDS design principles or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector
- Full right to work in the UK
- Eligible for Security Clearance
- Work to a Hybrid working model
