Responsibilities
- Build user-centred practices in new teams.
- Align user research activities with wider plans to inform a service proposition.
- Carry out user research and supervise and develop other user researchers to improve research practice.
- Advocate for inclusive research practices, ensuring accessibility for all users.
- Apply a wide range of primary and secondary user research methods.
- Analyse and synthesize research data, advising on appropriate techniques and critiquing findings to ensure best practice.
- Present research findings, tailoring summaries for different audiences.
- Understand the social and technological context of projects.
- Provide strategic insight, aligning user research activities to support decision making and action.
- Understand the technologies used to build and operate digital services.
- Help teams adopt user-centred and agile practices, embedding them into agile workflows.
Qualifications
- Have experience working to the GDS design principles or equivalent standards in the UK Public sector.
- 4+ years of user research experience.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance.
