Collaborate with delivery team members such as Product Owners, Service Designers, Business Users and Architects to understand client and user needs and requirements, and participate in designing appropriate solutions.
Help refine scope and requirements, align priorities and backlogs, and produce various artefacts including Process Flows, Customer Journey Maps, User Stories and definition of Functional, Non‑functional and Operational needs.
Take a User‑Centric approach: work with research and design team members to test options and solutions with wider user groups, and participate in Show & Tells for stakeholders.
Assist the team in preparing for assurance and quality gates, always focusing on delivering the right quality on time and on budget.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience working in Agile Delivery teams adopting agile tools.
- Experience as a Business Analyst: investigating, assimilating, and analysing different needs, constraints, and problems; able to document outcomes in simple, easy‑to‑understand language.
- Experience working within the Public Sector or Central Government.
- Demonstrable experience showcasing analytical skills including stakeholder management, building relationships, and collaborating as a team.
- Experience working with Product Owners to groom product backlog and produce meaningful Epics/Stories consumable by technical teams.
- Experience in process modelling and customer journey mapping, and assisting user testing.
- Experience working with tools and technologies commonly used by a BA such as Confluence, Jira, Visio, Mural, Miro, etc.
- Understanding of Service Maps and targeting operating models to align outputs and outcomes with them.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Knowledge of GDS or DSSS frameworks is desirable.
