BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is a leading supplier of cyber, intelligence, and security solutions delivering to the UK Government and its trusted partners. The Wireless Products team develop innovative mission‑critical technology involving high‑performance software, signal processing, and embedded systems and deliver solutions for all manner of environments, including underwater and outer space!
NETbuilder, in partnership with BAE Systems, are looking for ambitious and inquisitive people to play a key role in a growing team of developers to work onsite in the BAE Systems Guildford or Great Baddow. Prior to deployment to BAE, you will join a 12‑week training programme starting in April 2026, subject to security clearance. During the first 12 weeks you’ll participate in a fast‑track training programme covering both consultative and technical skills. This includes signal processing, computer architectures, C++, and DevOps, as well as how to apply them in real‑life software development projects. The first 6 weeks of training will be remote, then moving to an onsite project environment in Guildford.
We are looking for people with a STEM degree with a strong maths background and/or prior relevant experience. You will excel in this role if you are someone who:

Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM subjects provided you have a strong maths background.
Location: Training will be delivered part remotely and part onsite. Placement upon completion of training will be in the office of BAE Systems located in Guildford or Great Baddow.
Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates for this role will be required to go through security clearance. This will take place during training.
