Our exclusive client based in Crayford is looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager whom has experience of implementing and improving processes, handles hiring and firing, strong leadership skills etc. You will be managing a team of warehouse operatives, delegating workload ensuring orders are out within certain timeframes to meet clients needs.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
- Implementing and improving processes, ensuring it makes a smooth transition between the office team and warehouse team.
- Delegating workload to the warehouse operatives, ensuring they are dealing with urgent orders to meet client timeframes.
- Working with the wider teams such as the Workshop team, ensuring you have the items that have been tested for client orders.
- Handling the hiring and firing of the team, ensuring you are completing 12-1\’s to establish if the warehouse operatives are up to scratch and giving training if required.
- Ensuring the warehouse is up to health and safety standards.
- Getting yourself stuck in with urgent orders to ensure it is out on time for clients.
- Supporting the director with the logistics of the drivers routes.
Requirements of the Warehouse Manager:
- Experience of all the above.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Experience of managing a small team and meeting timeframes.
- Someone who creates and positive and rewarding environment.
- Forklift Licence.
- Experience of handling logistic routes for drivers
