We have a fantastic opportunity to join an international company where full training and future industry led qualifications are on offer. As a Trainee Ventilation Technician, you will join a specialist filtration testing business, who work with prestigious clients all over the country, mainly operating within the pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries.
This role will suit you if you are practical and hands on. You will be physically fit and happy to climb ladders. Great customer service and communication is key as you will be travelling and working on different client sites so you will be the face of the business. Clear, honest communication and the willingness to learn is essential. You will work to high-quality standards so taking pride in your work is key.
The role of Trainee Test Technical includes β
- Visiting client sites and carrying out maintenance and testing following a PPM schedules
- You will work in and with Clean Rooms, Containment Facilities, Cabinets, Fume Cupboards, Clean Air Devices, Air Handling Equipment etc
- Working on client sites, country-wide, to inspect, check and validate their air filtration systems to ensure compliance to agreed regulatory standards
- This could include working in confined spaces, wearing restrictive clothing, working under strict security guidelines etc
- This role may also include working away from home, and weekend working, although your rota is available well in advance
To be considered for the Trainee Test Technical role, you will-
- Be practical, testing various equipment for air quality, filter integrity, particulate counts etc
- Able to learn calculations and conversion rates β good numerical skills
- Have a full driving licence, as company vehicle is included
- Be able to pass a standard DBS/CRB check, with possible extra security checks in the future
