We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Site Foreman to take the lead on day-to-day site operations across a range of construction and civil engineering projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in plant operation, groundworks, and team leadership to step into a key supervisory role.

The role of Site Foreman includes:-

  • Oversee and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
  • Supervise a small team of operatives including plant drivers, groundworkers, and labourers.
  • Operate machinery when required, including 360 excavators and other plant equipment.
  • Liaise with management, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and site progress.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance on-site.
  • Assist with planning work schedules, material deliveries, and equipment use.
  • Carry out basic plant checks and support with minor on-site repairs or breakdown response.

To be considered for the role of Site Foreman, you should have:-

  • Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Supervisor, or Senior Operative.
  • Strong knowledge of groundworks, plant operation, and site safety procedures.
  • CPCS or NPORS for 360 Excavator and/or other plant machinery (preferred).
  • Ability to lead by example with a practical, proactive, and safety-first approach.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
