We’re recruiting for an established specialist supplier serving the construction and manufacturing sectors, looking for a Phone-Based Sales Executive to join its close-knit team in Norwich. This is an opportunity to combine customer service, relationship building and sales in a varied role where great service matters more than aggressive targets. What’s in it for you? * Salary up to £33,000 per annum * Annual profit share of up to £3,000 * A friendly, close-knit team of four * No high-pressure sales targets * A varied role with real commercial involvement What will you be doing? * Managing customer enquiries by phone and email * Sourcing products, preparing quotations and processing orders * Building relationships and developing existing accounts * Identifying upselling, cross-selling and new business opportunities * Reconnecting with lapsed customers * Negotiating with suppliers and resolving customer queries What are we looking for? * Someone who enjoys talking to people, solving problems and spotting opportunities. * You’ll have strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, commercial awareness and a proactive approach. * Experience within nuts, bolts, fixings, fasteners or similar industrial supplies is highly preferred. Experience in internal sales, account management or customer service is essential - and within a related industry would also be advantageous. * You’ll be confident building customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and taking ownership of enquiries from start to finish.
