Trainee Mobile Field Technician Location: Durham – daily travel up to 2 hours radius from home. Paid after 1 hour. Monday – Friday, £25,800 + OT (up to £10,000 additional). Working hours normally between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm (earliest start 5:00 am, may finish later). Company van + fuel card provided. Official UK Government Security Classification check required.

Role Overview
This is a mobile role delivering varied duties across 6–12 sites per day. Responsibilities include:
- IT Hardware Auditing, PC Cleaning and Data Centre maintenance.
- Service and maintain delivery lockers, replace parts and ensure they are in working order.
- Hands‑on maintenance of technical rooms and computer hardware.
- Liaise with clients, discuss hazards and use a tablet to write reports on work done, hazards found and Health and Safety requirements.
Full training is provided. You will work remotely against a 28‑day rota, often independently, driving to appointments in the company van and stocking the van once per month with necessary equipment.
