Metal Assembly Operative £29,000-£32,000 Mon-Fri 7am-4pm Sidcup Permanent My client based in Sidcup is looking to recruit 2x Metal Assembly Operatives to join their team on a full time permanent basis. You will be working in a global organisation that adds tremendous value to private and public sectors. You will be experienced in assembling metal & using a range of hand tools. Day to day of the Metal Assembly Operative: Studying and working from drawings/ specifications to attach metal components to objects. Ensuring you are working with quality yet also at speed to meet deadlines. Using a range of hand tools such as vices, metal files, drills etc and adhering to health and safety standards. Picking materials as requested for each specification/ order. Updating relevant parties on stock take if required and any damaged goods. Working towards weekly targets to ensure you hit production levels.Requirements of the Metal Assembly Operative: Experience of assembling metal components. Experience of using a range of hand tools with attention to detail. A get up and go attitude to work with pace and precision. Able to work from drawings and specifications. Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Works well independently and in a team to hit team targets. Works well under pressure.Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
