About the Company
An established construction and fit-out contractor with over 20 years of industry experience is seeking a motivated Junior Multi Trader to join its growing team. Based from their office in Bexley, the company delivers high-quality fit-out and refurbishment projects across commercial buildings, rail networks, airports, and other large-scale environments throughout London and the South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with around one year of hands-on experience who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the construction industry. You will work alongside experienced tradespeople, gaining valuable on-the-job training across a variety of projects.
The Role
As a Junior Multi Trader, you will support the delivery of maintenance, fit-out, and refurbishment works across multiple live and completed projects. This is a varied and hands-on role offering exposure to a wide range of trades and construction environments. No two days are the same, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects from start to finish while continuing to develop your technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and carry out a variety of trade works, including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical works, HVAC and air conditioning support, plastering, tiling, drainage works, and general construction and refurbishment tasks.
- Work across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects, including rail and airport environments.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Adhere to company health & safety procedures and site regulations.
- Work collaboratively with experienced tradespeople and project teams.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience working within construction, fit-out, maintenance, or a similar environment.
- Trade-specific qualifications or certifications would be advantageous.
- Previous commercial or fit-out experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong work ethic with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
