The Vacancy
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Carpenter with experience working on commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. You will take pride in delivering work to a high standard and be confident working both independently and as part of a wider team alongside specialist subcontractors. As part of this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of carpentry works across multiple live and completed projects, supporting jobs from start to finish. With a varied project portfolio, no two days will be the same. While carpentry will be your primary trade, experience in other areas such as basic plumbing, plastering, tiling and general making good would be highly desirable, although not essential.
The Person Specification
- Minimum 4 years' experience working as a Carpenter within commercial construction, fit-out or refurbishment environments
- Strong carpentry skills with good all-round knowledge across multiple trades
- Experience working across live commercial projects and alongside specialist subcontractors
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider site team
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering work to a high standard
- Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to different projects and requirements
- Any relevant trade-specific qualifications would be advantageous
