My client based in Maidstone is looking to recruit a Key Account Manager on a permanent basis who is experienced in handling accounts from end to end within either the fire, drainage, construction or service solution industry. You will be working directly with clients to ensure planned and reactive jobs can go ahead, working with the wider operations team to schedule works and gain next steps for clients if required.
Day to day of the Key Account Manager:
- Raising tickets onto the internal system and client portals.
- Handling incoming calls from clients to understand reactive jobs.
- Booking planned works for maintenance with clients.
- Delivering first class customer service and handling stakeholders needs via portals, telephone, email etc.
- Working with wider operations teams to ensure reactive and planned works can be scheduled within clients timeframes.
- Drawing up quotations for works when required ensuring you are maximising profit with attention to detail.
- Chasing up all submitted quotations for your accounts that you manage.
- Handling general administrative duties.
Requirements for the Key Account Manager:
- Experience of handling accounts booking in reactive and planned works.
- Experience in either the fire and security, utilities, construction, or service solutions industry.
- Excellent customer service experience via telephone and email.
- Can work well under pressure and use your initiative to solve issues.
- Bubbly and outgoing personality.
- On call is optional but if wanted, it's 1 in 8 weeks paid at an extra per week.
- Can draw up quotations (desired).
