Join a long-established, multi-disciplined engineering team with over a century of expertise behind it. You will be part of a skilled group supporting customers with reliable, top-tier generator services backed by modern tools, industry-leading standards, and a commitment to quality engineering.

As a Generator Technician, your role will include:

  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on diesel generators and related equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns with confidence and professionalism
  • Diagnose faults using advanced software and your own engineering expertise
  • Perform load bank testing
  • Take part in a 24-hour emergency call-out rota (1 week in every 5)
  • Support installation and commissioning of diesel generators

You will have access to the latest diagnostic tools and technology to help you deliver outstanding service every time.

To be considered for the role of Generator Technician, you will have:

  • Strong electrical/mechanical engineering experience
  • Ideally, 18th Edition qualification
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with common generator control systems (preferred)
  • Good computer literacy
