An established international organisation is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong financial accountant to develop their career within a multinational group, with exposure to group reporting, consolidation, technical accounting, audit, acquisitions and finance transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting and consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations, management reporting and technical accounting disclosures.
  • Assist with statutory accounts, audit requirements and financial compliance, ensuring reporting is accurate and in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
  • Maintain appropriate supporting documentation for key accounting areas.
  • Contribute to technical accounting and wider finance projects, including new accounting standards, acquisition accounting, M&A integration, treasury, foreign exchange and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Support process improvement, automation and standardisation across the finance function, helping to improve reporting processes, controls, systems and documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with international finance teams and senior stakeholders, acting as a key contact for reporting and consolidation queries while providing analysis and financial insight to support decision-making.
