My client based in Bexleyheath are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Plumber who has worked on large projects to install and maintain commercial plumbing and heating pipework systems. You will be attending sites across London and the Southeast as required. You could be on one job for one full day or for a few months at a time dependent on the project.
Day to day of the Commercial Plumber:
- Completing a range of different works such as DHW, DHWS, CWS, water distribution pipeworks, underfloor and radiant ceiling heating systems etc.
- Working on above ground drainage installations and pumped waste/drainage systems.
- Chilled water installations such as large water tanks.
- Carry out pipework fabrications and installations across a range of materials and metals.
- Reading technical drawings and schematics for installations, even if they aren’t the current state of the building.
- Working on existing live systems and upgrading where needed.
- Plan pipework routes through existing plant rooms, risers and locations.
- Working with a range of other engineers in different trades to reach the same goal.
Requirements of the Commercial Plumber:
- Fully Qualified Plumber, city and guilds Level 2 or equivalent.
- At least 3 years worth of experience.
- Strong pipework fabrications and pipework experience.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Awareness of Legionella.
