Overview
In this role, you will support the administration and ongoing improvement of global sales compensation programs. You will work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, Payroll, HR, Revenue Operations, and IT to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant commission payments. You will analyze data, validate calculations, and drive automation and process improvements across multiple geographies. This is a hands-on, data-driven role focused on accuracy, governance, and scalable compensation operations. You will contribute to system enhancements and play a key role in delivering reliable, governance-aligned compensation outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Validate commission calculations, earnings, quotas, credits, and attainment to ensure payment accuracy
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual commission processing, including data validation and payout audits
- Investigate compensation inquiries, disputes, and escalations within SLAs
- Partner with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments
- Review and validate manual adjustments, exceptions, and off-cycle payments
- Analyze sales and commission data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, and recurring metrics
- Perform data reconciliations across source systems for data integrity
- Support administration and testing of Incentive Compensation Management platforms (SPIFF, Anaplan, or related tools)
- Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and production deployments
- Ensure compliance with compensation policies, SOX controls, governance, and audit standards
- Collaborate with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders
- Support annual plan rollouts, territory changes, quota updates, and organizational changes
- Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to boost scalability and efficiency
Key requirements
- Bachelor's degree in listed fields
- 3-5 years in Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, Finance, Revenue Operations, or related analytics roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with large datasets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
