As an Inside Sales Representative at NetApp, you will play a key role in driving new customer acquisition and growth. You’ll use outbound and inbound prospecting to engage prospects and existing customers through an omni‑channel approach, to discover, qualify and understand their business challenges, and position NetApp’s hybrid cloud and data solutions to meet their needs. Working closely with our channel, marketing, and technical teams, you will build and manage your own pipeline, generate new opportunities, and contribute directly to NetApp’s success in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive customer and cross‑selling acquisition through phone, email, and digital outreach.
- Prospect inbound and outbound to drive new qualified pipeline, discover and qualify.
- Understand customer needs and clearly communicate NetApp’s value propositions across 3–5 use cases.
- Collaborate with the channel to deliver proposals.
- Generate new business through proactive prospecting, including cold calling and targeted campaigns & social selling.
- Support marketing initiatives such as events, webinars, and lead‑generation campaigns.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking in CRM systems.
- Work closely with sales, technical specialists, and channel teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Job Requirements
- 18–24 months of experience in inside‑sales, or a related field (internships welcome), mainly focused on full pipeline ownership (prospect to close).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience using prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Navigator, and CRM platforms.
- Genuine curiosity and understanding of cloud, storage, or IT solutions.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent English and comfortable working in an international environment.
Bonus experience:
- B2B sales IT or cloud industry exposure.
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems (resellers, distributors, system integrators).
