Key Responsibilities

  • GovernmentRelationsStrategy:Developandexecutecomprehensivegovernmentrelationsstrategiesthatsupportthecompany\'sbusinessobjectivesintheEMEAregion.
  • PolicyAnalysisandAdvocacy:Monitorandanalyzeregulatoryproposalsandpoliticaltrends,advisingcompanyleadershiponpotentialimpacts.Advocateforpolicypositionsbeneficialtotheorganizationanditsstakeholders.
  • StakeholderEngagement:Establishandnurturerelationshipswithgovernmentofficials,regulatoryagencies,tradeassociations,andotherkeyinfluencersintheEMEApoliticalenvironment.
  • IssueManagement:Proactivelyidentifyissuesthatcouldimpactthecompanyandleadtheresponsestrategytominimizerisks.Coordinatewithlegalandcomplianceteamstoensureadherencetoallapplicablelawsandregulations.
  • Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:WorkcollaborativelywithinternalteamssuchasPublicAffairs,Legal,Compliance,andBusinessUnitstointegrategovernmentrelationsactivitieswithbroadercompanystrategies.
  • InfluencerNetworkDevelopment:Utilizeandfurtherbuildhis/herexistingnetworkwithothertechnologyfirms,non-governmentalorganizations,andthoughtleaderstoshapepublicpolicydebatesinlinewiththecompany\'sinterests.
  • Communications:Craftmessagingandpositionstatementsonpolicyissues,preparingbriefingmaterialsforexecutiveleadershipandrepresentingthecompanyatpubliceventsasrequired.
  • CrisisManagement:Providecounselongovernmentalmattersduringanyreputationalorregulatorycrisis,ensuringswiftandappropriateresponses.

Job Requirements

  • Experience:Minimumof10-15yearsofrelatedexperienceingovernmentrelationsorpublicaffairs,withaproventrackrecordofsuccessasaseniorgovernmentrelationsprofessionalintheEMEAregion.Experienceinthetechnologysectorishighlyregarded.
  • Knowledge:ComprehensiveunderstandingofEMEAgovernmentalprocesses,regulatoryenvironments,andgeopoliticalfactorsinfluencingpublicpolicy.
