Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in Oracle DB Administration to manage and optimize Oracle database environments

Job Description:
- Manage and maintain Oracle database systems ensuring high availability and performance
- Perform database installation configuration patching and upgrades Monitor database health and implement proactive measures to prevent issues.
- Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization
- Collaborate with development teams to support PLSQL development and Oracle Data Integrator ODI processes
- Ensure database security backup and recovery strategies are implemented and tested
- Analyse and troubleshoot database related issues promptly Document database configurations procedures and policies
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices
- Participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery planning activities
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead Oracle DB administration activities including installation configuration and maintenance
- Manage and optimize ODI workflows and data integration processes
- Develop review and optimize PLSQL code to support application requirements
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless database operations
- Implement database backup recovery and disaster recovery plans
- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve database issues
- Enforce database security policies and compliance standards
- Mentor junior DBAs and provide technical guidance
- Prepare reports on database performance availability and capacity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance database reliability and efficiency
