Overview
Role Description and main responsibilities:
The role holder will report to the Head of CTO Change Portfolio Management and will operate as the dedicated PMO Engagement Lead for at least one of the CTO Areas.
Responsibilities:
- Support the effective delivery of the CTO portfolio outcomes ensuring these are aligned to the organisational strategic requirements and priorities.
- Work along with Area stakeholders to drive the delivery of accurate and timely Reporting data and Governance meeting materials.
- Report on Areas portfolio health back to the PMO Lead Head of PMO Change Management and ExCo.
- Identify thematic Risks and Issues for the Area and report these back to Central PMO.
- Ensure the Areas programmes adhere to Frameworks and standards.
- Support CTO annual planning activities, advise on best methods and produce review materials.
- Not own any governed programmes or projects but will be responsible for monitoring CTOs Programmes Portfolios/projects.
- Some understanding of Portfolio management frameworks methodologies and best practice techniques.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with strong experience of negotiating, documenting and presenting recommendations to deliver shared outcomes.
- Critical thinking able to work under pressure to challenging timescales and deliver at pace.
- Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and communication skills. Proven experience of exposure to Senior stakeholders is critical.
- Very good leadership skills and ability to engage and bring different teams together.
- Some knowledge of technology infrastructure products and platforms and fintech.
- Strong in-depth reporting skills as data reported to CTO level within.
- Ability to turn around adhoc requests into high level reports from senior management.
- Prepare portfolio update reports, quality procedures, audits, status reports where required.
