Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, and oversee complex databases.
- Develop database solutions and analyze structural requirements.
- Experience in designing conceptual and logical data models.
- Work with RDBMS PostgreSQL/Oracle for application development, database placement, design tuning, DDL promotion, and upgrades.
- Ideally, have experience with SQL Server in addition to one of the above.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and willingness to pick up new database challenges.
- Exposure to NoSQL technology (Couchbase, Cassandra) is a plus.
- Graduate/Postgraduate qualifications, ideally with experience in a financial company (fintech).
- Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Rally, Kanban, Confluence).
- DevOps skills (GIT, Liquibase, Cloud exposure, Ansible, Terraform) are a bonus.
- Ability to think outside the box and not depend on runbooks.
- Team player.
- May be required to work outside normal working hours if needed.
