Location: Southampton, UK + Domestic & International Travel

Hybrid: 3-4 days in-office, 1-2 days remote

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Strategic Financial Leadership – Develop and execute financial strategies that drive multi-market, international expansion and push towards a high-value exit event.
2. IPO & Investment Readiness – Oversee financial reporting, ensure compliance, and prepare for IPO or strategic acquisition within three years.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting Mastery – Lead financial planning with razor-sharp forecasting to guide high-stakes decision-making.
4. Risk & Compliance Leadership – Identify and mitigate financial risks while keeping the financial house in order.
5. Investor & Stakeholder Relations – Engage with investors, financial institutions, and partners, ensuring the company remains an attractive and credible investment.
6. Building a Global Financial Infrastructure – Lead SPV structuring, licensing deals, and high-stakes negotiations to support international growth.
7. Leadership & Culture Building – Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team to drive commercial success.

Who We’re Looking For

1. A CFO with Grit & Vision – A proven financial leader who thrives in high-growth, high-stakes environments.
2. International experience is ideal
3. IPO & Investment Expertise – Experience navigating IPOs, funding rounds, or major valuation events.
4. Commercial & Strategic Finance Guru – Strong corporate finance expertise with a sharp commercial mindset to structure deals and drive revenue.
5. Industry Experience – While not essential, experience in technology, manufacturing, or clean energy is a major plus.
6. Leadership & Influence – A strategic thinker with the confidence to lead, negotiate, and drive financial outcomes.
7. Globally Minded – Ready to travel internationally, build partnerships, and shape global expansion.
8. Preferred Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
