Net Zero People are working with a leading Independent Connection Provider (ICP) specialising in high-voltage (HV) electrical connections. They design, build, and commission tailored grid connections for commercial, industrial, and renewable energy developments. They are looking for HV Senior PM, HV PM and PM who have experience working on projects ranging from 11kV/33kV – 132kV. These positions will be to oversee and deliver high-voltage connection projects from inception to completion. The head office is based in Suffolk, weekly visits will be needed and they will look at both Permanent and Contract options for these roles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven project management expertise, and a deep understanding of ICP operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of high-voltage (up to 132kV) connection projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee project design, planning, procurement, and construction activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, DNO/IDNO requirements, and health & safety standards.
  • Liaise with clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, site managers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project risks, budgets, and schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Ensure adherence to the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and all relevant legislation.
  • Conduct site visits, audits, and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on HV electrical systems, connections, and commissioning.
