Our client is a successful, family-owned renewable energy business specialising in residential solar PV and battery storage solutions. Having delivered more than 1,500 installations and built an outstanding reputation for customer service, the company is entering an exciting phase of expansion.
With ambitious plans to significantly increase installation volumes over the next 12 months, the business is investing in operational leadership to create the structure, processes, and performance culture needed to support sustainable growth.
What you'll do
- Reporting directly to the leadership team, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of installation delivery, subcontractor performance, compliance, quality assurance, and health & safety.
- You'll provide hands-on leadership to operational teams while introducing improvements that enhance efficiency, increase installation capacity, and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Working closely with coordinators, technical teams, subcontractors, and customers, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exceptional standards.
- You'll also take ownership of operational KPIs, process optimisation, audit preparation, and compliance across evolving renewable energy regulations.
- Beyond operational delivery, you'll help build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence that supports the company's next stage of growth.
About you
You'll bring proven experience from the solar PV, battery storage, renewable energy, alongside a strong background in operations management, project management, or installation leadership.
You are confident managing subcontractors, driving performance improvements, and navigating compliance requirements. Knowledge of MCS, NAPIT, DNO processes, and renewable energy standards is essential.
Most importantly, you're a proactive leader who enjoys solving problems, making decisions, and helping growing businesses achieve ambitious goals.
