Now you are ready to use that experience in a role where your technical judgement shapes every project before the first panel is installed. This is a brilliant opportunity for a hands-on solar PV professional to step into a more office and field-based Technical Manager role, leading surveys, planning installations and making sure residential solar PV, battery storage, backup systems and EV charging projects are safe, compliant and commercially sound from day one.
What you’ll do:
- You’ll carry out detailed site surveys across Sussex, Kent and Surrey, assessing roof suitability, access, cable routes, inverter and battery locations, shading, orientation, comms, Wi-Fi and any installation risks.
- You’ll validate what has been sold, check quotations against site realities, identify variations and make sure every project is technically ready for installation.
- Your work will directly support sales, procurement, finance and the Installation Manager, giving the wider team clear, accurate information they can rely on.
