Our client are building a stronger in-house delivery team to help UK homeowners switch to cleaner, smarter home energy. This is a hands-on Solar Electrician role for someone who cares about quality, compliance, and leaving every job looking spot on. The work is domestic, the standards are high, and the mission is simple: help people move towards renewables in a way that genuinely works for their home and their budget.
You’ll be joining a fast-growing UK residential energy group that’s been around since 2015 and has scaled quickly across home energy and related services. The wider group supports a large and growing customer base nationwide and sits across three areas: helping customers fund upgrades, delivering installations through a strong local network, and supporting the ongoing performance of essential home systems. The focus is on technologies like solar PV, batteries, EV chargers and smart controls, all working together to modernise home energy.
You’ll be installing domestic solar PV systems safely and neatly, making sure everything is tested and fit for purpose. You’ll work closely with the wider delivery team to keep jobs running smoothly, solve issues quickly, and handle snagging properly rather than passing it on. Because you’ll be in customers’ homes, you’ll also need to be confident explaining what you’re doing in plain English and leaving the site exactly how you’d expect someone to leave yours.
You’ll have strong domestic electrical experience and solid exposure to solar PV installs, with a proper understanding of safe working, testing and compliance. We’re after someone who takes pride in tidy workmanship, thinks ahead on-site, and does things properly even when nobody is watching. If you’re calm under pressure, reliable, and you care about the customer experience as much as the technical outcome, you’ll do well here.
This is a chance to join a business with serious momentum in the residential renewables space, where demand is strong and the direction of travel is clear. You’ll be part of a team that’s scaling quickly, backed by meaningful investment, and focused on helping households adopt renewables at the right pace for them. If you want stability, progression, and work you can be proud of, this one is worth exploring.
