Why this role

You’re a senior marketer at heart, ready to build a best-in-class lead-generation engine from scratch. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll set strategy and own execution across paid, SEO, email, events and content without a marketing leader above you. In a high-growth, tech-enabled renewables group, your performance will directly power the acquisition of homeowners and drive revenue across our regional subsidiaries. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, relish autonomy and measure success by qualified leads and ROI, this is the pivotal role you’ve been waiting for.

What you’ll do

You will architect and scale an end-to-end acquisition strategy that consistently delivers high-quality homeowner enquiries within target CPLs. Owning the full funnel, you’ll run multichannel campaigns, experiment with landing-page A/B tests and refine messaging to lift conversion. Using HubSpot, you’ll build automated nurture workflows, segment audiences by profile and intent, and forecast pipeline metrics. You’ll collaborate closely with sales leadership to optimise lead-to-sale conversion and jointly refine customer acquisition cost. Beyond performance marketing, you’ll shape our brand, commission PR campaigns through an external agency and drive educational content—from solar guides to case studies—that fuels both awareness and demand.

About the company

We are a UK solar buy-and-build platform backed by energy-sector investors, integrating top regional installers into a single, digitally-enabled group. With three subsidiaries and a team of 65, we’re accelerating the transition to smart solar energy through strategic acquisitions and an agile, tech-driven approach. As we enter Series A growth, you’ll join us at the point where marketing transforms from ad hoc to a unified, high-impact function.

About you

You have personally built and scaled B2C lead-generation programmes ideally in high-consideration purchases and you own performance end to end. You’re hands-on with HubSpot, able to dissect a full setup within days, and skilled at managing six-figure media budgets. Your strong data-driven mindset thrives on clear dashboards and measurable outcomes. Comfortable reporting directly to the CEO, you’re self-motivated, resourceful and excel where priorities shift rapidly.

Rewards & growth

Aside from a competitive salary and equity option, you’ll build the group’s entire marketing function and earn direct exposure to executive leadership. As the function scales, you’ll have a clear path to Marketing Director. You’ll work in a central London HQ four days per week, enjoy 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and participate in a salary-sacrifice pension scheme.
