What you’ll do

You will take ownership of estimates across commercial and industrial solar and battery storage schemes, from first enquiry through to final submission and contract award. Your role will involve building and reviewing cost plans, testing assumptions, challenging figures and making sure each tender is both commercially sound and technically aligned. Alongside the hands-on estimating, you will act as a steady senior presence for the wider team. You will help bring clarity to decisions, deal confidently with clients and contractors, and support a more consistent and commercially focused way of working. This role is suited to someone who is comfortable taking responsibility, managing competing deadlines and keeping standards high when the pressure builds.

About you

You will be commercially aware, composed under pressure and credible in front of clients. You know how to communicate clearly, make sensible decisions and lead by example in a small but growing team.
