Why this role

The best heat pump engineers understand more than the unit outside the house. They understand the whole heating system behind it: the pipework, the old boiler, the radiators, the water flow, the shortcuts taken years ago and the hidden issues that only appear once you start opening things up.

This role is for a heating engineer who has built their career in domestic heating and now wants to apply that experience to high-quality air source heat pump installations. You will be trusted to work independently, make sound technical decisions and help homeowners move confidently from traditional heating to low-carbon technology.

What you’ll do

You will carry out domestic heat pump installations across residential properties, working on projects that often involve removing or adapting existing heating systems. You will assess the condition of pipework and wider heating infrastructure, understand what needs upgrading, and install systems that perform properly in real homes.

This is a field-based role covering Sussex, Kent and East Surrey. You will work closely with colleagues across installation, operations and renewables delivery to make sure each project is planned and completed to a high standard.
