You’re an experienced electrical professional who takes pride in standards, leadership and doing things properly. You know that renewable energy only works when installations are safe, compliant and expertly delivered. If you’re ready to step into a senior role where your technical judgement genuinely matters, this could be the opportunity that moves your career forward.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of the electrical function within a growing solar PV and retrofit operation. You’ll be trusted as the go-to authority, shaping quality, supporting teams on site, and ensuring every installation meets the highest regulatory and safety standards.
You’ll sit at the heart of delivery, balancing hands-on site presence with technical oversight, and playing a key role in scaling high-quality renewable installations across the South of England.
You’ll oversee the electrical elements of domestic and small commercial solar PV, battery storage and retrofit projects, ensuring compliance with BS 7671, MCS standards, TrustMark and building regulations. Regular site inspections, quality checks, testing and commissioning will be part of your routine, alongside reviewing RAMS, certification and handover documentation. You’ll support subcontracted electricians, advise site managers, and step in to resolve technical issues before they become problems.
The business is a specialist renewable energy and retrofit contractor working across domestic and small commercial properties. Quality, compliance and long-term performance sit at the centre of its culture. The organisation is growing steadily, investing in people who want to build something credible and lasting within the clean energy sector.
You’re a qualified Electrical Manager or Senior Electrician with a strong domestic background and experience delivering solar PV installations. You hold a Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification, 18th Edition, and Inspection & Testing, and you’re comfortable acting as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor or Duty Holder. You understand MCS requirements, certification processes and the realities of supervising electrical teams in the field. A full UK driving licence is essential, and experience with battery storage or PAS 2030/2035 is a bonus.
Alongside a competitive salary and performance bonus, you’ll receive a company vehicle or car allowance, pension contributions, generous holiday allowance plus your birthday off, and ongoing training to keep you at the forefront of the renewables sector.
