Job Summary

As a Garden Maintenance Operative, you’ll work in a small, collaborative team performing a variety of gardening and landscaping tasks that contribute to creating healthy, well‑maintained landscapes. We seek someone motivated, reliable, and ready to grow their skills in a rewarding, hands‑on role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general gardening tasks, including mowing, trimming, pruning, weeding, and planting
  • Assist with hard landscaping tasks as required
  • Collaborate with team members to complete maintenance schedules and respond to client needs
  • Maintain high standards and deliver a quality service
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements

  • Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, or grounds maintenance is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong motivation, enthusiasm, and a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Physically fit to handle long hours and physical tasks
  • Full UK manual driving licence (ideally 25+ for insurance purpose)

Contracted hours: 07:30 - 17:00 (flexibility available)

Salary: £24,500 per year starting at National Minimum Wage, with potential for increase based on experience

Overtime and weekend work available (paid at 1.5x hourly rate)
