Job Summary
We are looking for skilled and motivated Electricians and Solar PV Electricians to join our expanding team delivering renewable energy, retrofit, and energy-efficiency projects across the West Midlands and surrounding areas.
Whether you are an experienced domestic or commercial electrician looking to move into renewables, or an established Solar PV Electrician, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and testing works.
- Install and commission Solar PV systems and associated equipment where qualified.
- Complete consumer unit upgrades and electrical improvement works.
- Carry out fault finding and remedial works.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations.
- Complete certification and documentation accurately.
- Work professionally within occupied domestic properties and commercial environments.
- Liaise with site management, tenants, and customers as required.
- Support project delivery to ensure works are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Travel to project locations across the West Midlands and surrounding areas as required.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
- ECS or CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Desirable Requirements
- Solar PV installation experience.
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Small Scale Solar Photovoltaic Systems.
- Battery Storage installation experience.
- EV Charger installation experience.
- Experience within retrofit, social housing, or energy-efficiency projects.
