ABOUT THE ROLE
An established Tier 1 contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction and retrofit projects in and around Crewe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable Site Manager who has delivered high-quality construction projects and is looking to join a business that invests in its people through ongoing in-house training and development.
Applications are also welcomed from experienced Site Supervisors who are ready to take the next step into a Site Manager position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety on site.
- Monitor project progress and quality of workmanship.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Ensure works comply with relevant regulations and project specifications.
- Complete site documentation and reporting.
REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL
- Experience managing construction projects as a Site Manager, or significant experience as a Site Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Relevant construction qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
- CSCS card (minimum Gold or Silver)
DESIRABLE
- Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor.
- Experience delivering projects involving grant-funded works.
- Electrical background.
- Knowledge of building fabric and retrofit principles.
- Retrofit Assessor qualification.

WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE
