We are recruiting experienced
Solar PV Installers to join a growing renewable energy team delivering solar installations across
South London, Kent, Dartford and surrounding areas .
This is a hands‑on role for an experienced solar installer who can work safely and efficiently as part of an installation team.
Formal tickets are not essential, but candidates must have genuine previous experience installing Solar PV systems.
The Role
As a Solar PV Installer, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out the installation of solar photovoltaic systems on residential and other properties.
You will work as part of an experienced installation team, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
The standard working hours are
8:00am to 4:00pm on-site .
The company is based in
Swanley, Kent , with projects across South London, Kent, Dartford and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Install Solar PV systems on residential and other properties.
- Assist with the installation of solar panels and associated mounting systems.
- Prepare roofs and work areas for solar installations.
- Safely handle and position solar panels and installation materials.
- Install mounting systems and associated components.
- Work alongside electricians and other members of the installation team.
- Follow installation specifications and instructions.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
- Complete installation work within agreed timescales.
- Previous hands‑on experience installing Solar PV systems is essential.
- Good understanding of solar installation processes and practices.
- Able to work safely at height.
- Good awareness of health and safety requirements.
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.
- Willingness to travel to different project locations.
- Driving & Travel
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is strongly preferred , as projects will be spread across South London, Kent, Dartford and surrounding areas.
Candidates will need to be able to travel to different sites as required.
