As an Electronic Design Engineer you will be the technical authority for electronic design and development within the Net World Sports Product Design team.

You will take ownership of complex electronic projects from concept through to production, bridging electronic and mechanical design whilst communicating technical decisions clearly to non-specialist colleagues.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of electronic product developments from concept through to production-ready designs
  • Design and develop electronic circuits, selecting components and producing accurate documentation
  • Lead the design of wiring harnesses and technical assembly drawings for production use
  • Own motor and drive system selection and integration across applicable products
  • Lead PCB development with suppliers from brief through to production sign-off
  • Work closely with the Product Design team to integrate electronic and mechanical requirements
  • Build and develop relationships with key electronic component suppliers and manufacturers

  • Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar
  • Proven experience owning electronic product developments independently
  • Proficient in producing electronic drawings, schematics and technical documentation
  • Strong communicator, able to translate technical decisions into clear options for non-specialists
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and safety standards for electronic consumer products
  • Commercially aware, with a good grasp of cost, lead time and manufacturability
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach
