What You'll Do
- Demonstrate expert knowledge and understanding of all products in our portfolio, from premium to general items, keeping on top of new launches, developments and modifications to be able to pass this information on to clients and customers.
- Develop and manage key accounts and establish advanced and solid relationships with high value customers to ensure optimisation of sales, always seeking to maximise sales opportunities and encourage repeat business through an efficient and professional service from start to finish.
- Generate sales opportunities through warm enquiries by further developing leads to their maximum, identifying optimisation in already placed orders and enquiries.
- Engage efficiently with customers on outbound tasks when received by Senior Sales Executives and Management to generate further sales leads, maximise figures and target objectives.
- Ensure customer experience and high-quality delivery is at the forefront of your mind across all forms of communication, including phone, email, live chat, and when applicable, in person.
- Deal with a range of customers including consumer, corporate and commercial, obtaining relevant information (budgetary requirements, competitor pricing, product needs) to maximise sales opportunities.
- Resolve any issues as they arise, such as identifying and converting online failed payments by assisting the customer with their sale in a timely manner, and ensuring they are fully satisfied with their experience.
- Request supplier/manufacturer quotes and information to ensure customers receive accurate information on bespoke products, managing external supplier orders for your customer where applicable to ensure good communication and sales management throughout.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other departments to improve business efficiencies, providing ideas, feedback and errors to our Product Design and Development teams and assisting the Customer Service team with complex and high-value sales issues, being accountable for issues and errors and seeking a best resolution for all parties.
- Strive to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the wider sales team target whilst at the same time always looking for ways to develop your own skills and experiences.
What You'll Bring
- Ideally 1 year experience in a sales environment with a proven track record of closing sales based on customer needs.
- Consistent work ethic with a self-driven attitude to achieve and succeed individual and team sales targets and to develop and progress in a career with us.
- Confident and positive mentality, always looking to demonstrate your initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and the ability to share ideas and collaborate across departments.
- Ability to adapt and to prioritise and manage workload efficiently to ensure a qualitative and quantitative balance of output.
- Interest in Sports and/or equipment.
Desirable
- Good level of understanding of NAV & Magento.
- Some understanding of product knowledge.
- Good understanding of competitor products & pricing.
- Some experience in outreach or cold sales.
- Previous experience in the Sports industry.
Shifts
- 6-week rota provided in advance, typical rota will consist of the following:
- 07:00 – 15:30 – 1 week
- 09:00 – 17:30 – 4 weeks
- 15:30 – 00:00 – 1 week
- Occasional weekend and bank holiday work may be required every six weeks.
