As a Product Designer you will play a key role in the design and development of Net World Sports products across a wide range of sporting categories. You will be responsible for developing innovative concepts, creating technical drawings and CAD models, and supporting products through the full development process from initial idea to final production.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Generate design briefs based on concepts and ideas from internal teams and external sources
- Create technical and accurate CAD models and drawings for manufacturing use (Fusion360)
- Produce technical instructions and documentation to support assembly of products by end users (Adobe Illustrator)
- Support Design and Visual teams with renders and product images (KeyShot)
- Work within the Products team to overcome complex design and manufacturing challenges
- Present and discuss ideas with suppliers/vendors to develop prototypes and product samples
- Assemble and test product samples, ensuring designs meet performance expectations for customers and certification standards
- Manage assigned projects and product development tasks, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes
- Work collaboratively across departments to support product launches and development activities
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Qualification in a relevant field such as Product Design, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a relevant design role
- Proficiency in CAD software to generate models and technical drawings (Fusion360 or similar)
- Experience in Adobe Suite and Rendering software (Illustrator, KeyShot or similar)
- Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques and product development processes
- Experience managing projects through the entire design process
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and discuss ideas clearly
- Motivated and proactive mindset with a passion for design and innovation
