As a Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting campaign planning, content creation, and brand communication. Working closely with the wider marketing, eCommerce, and visual teams, you’ll help bring products and stories to life through social media, email, web, and PR activity. This is the perfect role for someone who’s organised, creative, and eager to learn the ropes in a fast-paced marketing environment.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across social media and web platforms.
- Own and manage the content calendar for all Net World Sports and brand platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and all direct message channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice and strong engagement.
- Develop and attend marketing photoshoots, video shoots, and product launches to produce high-quality promotional marketing material.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager to grow Net World Sports and its sub-brands through national and international campaigns, collaborating with Senior Management to understand and refine brand focus.
- Work alongside the Marketing Manager to develop the Net World Sports and sub-brand websites, supporting ongoing marketing activations.
- Keep a strong understanding of current sporting trends, including sport growth, major tournaments, news, and emerging trends, to identify new opportunities.
- Track and report on the performance of marketing activities using tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite, analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and ROI.
- Take ownership of content creation and editorial across social media, product launches, and brand storytelling, ensuring all content is engaging, on-brand, and optimised for each platform. Write compelling, SEO-friendly copy for blogs and social media that resonates with both grassroots clubs and professional athletes.
- Ensure all partnership deliverables are met, orders are placed accurately, and campaigns effectively reach social audiences.
- Develop strong communication across teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Manage relationships with influencers, clubs, and partner brands, ensuring deliverables are met and requests are handled in a timely manner.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally within e-commerce or the sports industry.
- A genuine interest in sport—such as Rugby, Football, or Pickleball—allowing you to speak the customer’s language, alongside a strong passion for marketing and creativity.
- Proven ability to deliver creative social media and digital campaigns with a clear understanding of audience engagement.
- Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone from snappy and high-energy for social media to technical and authoritative for product guides.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere Pro) and CMS platforms.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift in line with the global sporting calendar.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident working independently and collaboratively across teams.
- A proactive, positive attitude and a genuine passion for sport, marketing, and continuous creative improvement.
