Job Overview

Net Temps are currently recruiting for a Mould Setter / Joiner to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves preparing and assembling moulds used in the production of Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) units. You will be responsible for setting moulds accurately, installing inserts and fixtures, and ensuring moulds are ready for the spraying or casting process. The role also includes cleaning, maintaining, and resetting moulds after use so they can be reused for future production. This is an important role within the production team, helping ensure work runs smoothly while maintaining high quality and accuracy standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mould Preparation & Setup
    • Assemble and set moulds using production drawings and specifications
    • Ensure moulds are level, aligned, and securely fixed before production
    • Install inserts, block-outs, chamfers, and other required components
    • Prepare mould surfaces ready for GRC spraying
  • Production Support
    • Work closely with the spraying team to ensure moulds are prepared correctly
    • Assist with preparing moulds for multiple spray cycles
    • Check moulds meet required measurements and tolerances before production
  • Demoulding & Reuse
    • Assist with safely removing moulds after casting
    • Clean and maintain moulds for future use
