We’re working with a top-tier construction firm renowned for delivering complex and high-value schemes across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Leeds.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be instrumental in delivering major projects across the education and Ministry of Defence sectors, with typical values of around £30 million. These schemes will involve both new build and significant refurbishment/fit-out elements. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on prestigious projects that have a real impact.

- Experience: Tier 1 contractor background advantageous
- Sector Experience: Strong construction experience on large-scale projects required; refurbishment and fit-out experience desirable
- Managing the commercial function of allocated projects from inception through to final account
- Preparing and managing accurate cost plans and budgets
- Leading subcontract procurement and commercial management
- Administering and managing NEC contracts, including change control and early warnings
- Conducting regular valuations and forecasting cash flow
- Identifying and managing project risks and opportunities
- Producing timely and accurate reports for senior management
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and project teams
- Driving value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
