About Our Client

Our client provides innovative, trauma-informed care for children aged 11–17, helping them overcome emotional and behavioural challenges in a safe, supportive, family-style environment. Their approach is built on the PACE model and Positive Behaviour Support, ensuring:

Technical Expertise

  • In‑depth knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015).
  • Understanding of Ofsted inspection frameworks and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to lead on audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in developing Statements of Purpose, care plans, and risk assessments.
  • Familiarity with legislation including Children Act 1989 / 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities – Responsible Individual

  • Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards, achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” ratings.
  • Oversee all aspects of care delivery, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the Registered Manager and senior team to maintain high‑quality practice.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for service growth and improvement.
  • Liaise with local authorities, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for children.
  • Monitor performance, budgets, and resources to maintain sustainability and excellence.
  • Drive a culture of continuous learning, development, and therapeutic care.
