Quantity Surveyor – Facades | Main Contractor | Leicester 🚧 Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE + £7,000 Car Allowance + Benefits Location: Head Office, Leicester Sector: Commercial & Public Sector (No Residential) Travel: Minimal Contract Types: JCT & NEC Project Values: £5m – £20m We are working with our client, a well-established main contractor, to find an experienced Quantity Surveyor with specialist knowledge in facades. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team based at their head office in Leicester, delivering complex, high-value commercial and public sector projects. Due to continued growth and a strong forward order book, this role has become available for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to make a long-term move and work with a company that values quality, collaboration, and professionalism. The Offer: * Up to £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience * £7,000 car allowance * Comprehensive benefits package * Based at head office – no regular site working * Minimal travel requirements * Opportunity to work on projects valued from £5m to £20m * All contracts under JCT and NEC * Career progression and stability within a supportive team Responsibilities of the Quantity Surveyor: * Preparing and managing project valuations and variations * Measuring works and preparing detailed cost plans * Procuring and managing subcontractor packages * Monitoring project budgets and forecasting costs * Ensuring contract compliance (JCT & NEC) * Assisting with final accounts and project close-out * Liaising with project teams, clients, and stakeholders * Supporting commercial planning and risk management * Contributing to commercial reporting and KPIs * Conducting occasional site visits as required About You: * Minimum 5 years\’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in facade systems * Strong knowledge of commercial and public sector construction – no residential * Confident working with both JCT and NEC contract forms * Detail-oriented, commercially aware, and an effective communicator * Comfortable working primarily from an office-based environment This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor ready to bring their facade expertise to a thriving contractor with a solid reputation in the commercial and public sector space.
