About the Company
Our client is a leading high-end, bespoke office fit-out, refurbishment, and furniture company. With a reputation for delivering outstanding commercial spaces that are both functional and beautifully designed, they work with a diverse range of clients across London. Their head office is based in Wimbledon, but their projects span the capital.
As a result of continued growth, our client is now looking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to support their busy and expanding project delivery team.
The Role
The Junior Project Manager will assist in managing commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects from inception to completion. Working under experienced Project Managers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-specification workspaces, helping to coordinate teams, suppliers, and timelines. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in project management within the design and build industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Project Managers in the planning and execution of fit-out and refurbishment projects across London
- Help coordinate day-to-day project activities, site logistics, and timelines
- Liaise with internal departments, external contractors, and clients to ensure smooth communication
- Attend site meetings and assist in progress reporting and documentation
- Track budgets and project progress using in-house systems
- Assist with the procurement and scheduling of furniture and materials
- Help maintain health & safety standards and ensure quality control processes are followed
- Support with project handover and snagging
Ideal Candidate
Our client is looking for a Junior Project Manager who is eager to learn, highly organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar project support or coordination role
- A qualification in construction, project management, or a related discipline (preferred)
- Good knowledge of the project lifecycle
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- A proactive approach and a can-do attitude
- A full UK driving licence (preferred)
