Net Temps Limited is recruiting for a Care Assistant to work on a temporary basis for one of our clients.
The client is an Older Person's care home based in Sandiacre, Nottingham, providing care and support to the elderly, making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. The home is a modern warm environment with a real homely feeling which sits on a major bus route between Nottingham and Derby.
Working as a Care Worker, you will be part of a team covering your preferred shifts on either days or nights, providing personal care and general assistance within the care home based in the NG10 area. This is an ongoing role, and you are welcome to make yourself available for anything from full time to only 1 shift per week.
Candidates will be required to have a background in healthcare, specifically providing care to the elderly in a UK based care home for a minimum of 6 months.
Duties:
- Contribute to the efficient and effective running of the care home carrying out a range of tasks to help provide the quality care and support the residents deserve.
- Assisting with daily living and routines, providing support and companionship, housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, or supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans.

Experience & Responsibilities:
- MUST have at least 6-month experience of working within a UK based Care home
- MUST have experience of working with hoists and mobility aids
- REQUIRED to have a background in the care of the elderly
- PREFERRED to have a DBS on the update service
- PREFERRED to have up to date Mandatory training although free training can be provided
- MUST have ability to get to Sandiacre
- MUST have working references in healthcare
- MUST have the right to work in the UK
