Steel Fixers Required – Immediate Starts | Loughborough
An exciting opportunity has become available to join a well-established manufacturing company in Loughborough. We are looking for experienced Steel Fixers to start immediately on a long-term project offering a minimum of 6 months' work.
Location: Loughborough
Pay & Hours:
- £23.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am – 5:30pm
- 30-minute unpaid break
- Minimum 6 months' work
Job Duties:
- Tying steel cages
- Steel fixing
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Working safely within a busy manufacturing environment
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (essential)
- Previous experience as a Steel Fixer
- Experience using steel fixing nips
- Full PPE (hard hat, high-visibility vest/jacket and safety boots)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically fit due to the manual handling involved
- Available work references
