Support Practitioners – Children’s Learning Disabilities Home (Derby)
Salary: Up to £31,980 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours/week)
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off (moving to 2 on / 4 off) including evenings, weekends, and approx. 5 sleep-ins per month
Sleep-in Rate: £65 per sleep-in (included in salary)

What You’ll Do
- Providing nurturing, person-centred care based on individual care plans
- Supporting children with daily routines and education
- Planning and enjoying fun activities and outings
- Building positive relationships with families and professionals
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring safeguarding at all times
- Helping create a safe, homely environment where children feel valued and loved
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children with EBD or learning disabilities (essential)
- QCF Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People (or equivalent) – highly desirable
- Supervisory experience (essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting children to grow and succeed
- Ability to work shifts including sleep-ins
- Full UK driving licence
