Precast Concrete Caster in Doncaster (DN5)

Pay: £13.10 per hour + holiday pay = £14.68

This company has a 4 stage pay grade system - there is potential for a pay rise within weeks once skill is displayed.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Net Temps are recruiting experienced Precast Concrete Casters for our well-established client based in Doncaster (DN5). This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturer offering long-term, stable work with the potential to secure a permanent role.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Previous experience in precast concrete production (essential)
  • Strong measuring, setting-out, and drawing interpretation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high standard of workmanship
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team (No CSCS card required - this is a factory-based role)

Key Responsibilities of the Concrete Caster:

  • Read and work accurately from detailed engineering drawings
  • Set up timber moulds
  • Lay natural stone, brick slips, or prepare moulds for architectural concrete
  • Install reinforcement cages, ensuring correct cover is maintained
  • Accurately fix cast-in items, lifters, anchors, and associated ancillaries
  • Pour and finish concrete using trowels, floats, and hand tools
  • Strip moulds, clean down, and reset for continued production
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Work safely and confidently with overhead cranes
