Net Temps Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precast manufacturing company that is looking for experienced Brick Pointers to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temp-to-perm position with a reputable employer offering long-term career prospects and ongoing training.
Working within a busy precast concrete factory, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products by accurately pointing brick slips and carrying out finishing work to a high standard.
Job Details
- Location: Colwick
- Pay Rate: Β£17.00 - Β£20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Shift: 6:00am - 3:30pm
Key Duties
- Pointing brick slips using mortar to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Applying and finishing mortar joints to specification.
- Carrying out repairs and cosmetic finishing work on precast concrete products.
- Cleaning and preparing concrete panels prior to finishing.
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Assisting with general manual labour and production duties as required.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in brick pointing, bricklaying, masonry, or a similar finishing role.
- Own transport is essential due to the location and early start times.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to high-quality standards.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team.
